Just kidding. I know I’m crazy. But Steve was just crazy enough to agree to this hare-brained cake idea to surprise his beautiful wife Marissa on her birthday! Cactus cake with moustache. Now THAT is true love forever. They are a super cute couple and I loved making this cake.

You totally made my day :) That cake is sooo cute! I really wanna try making it but I sort of suck at frosting cakes. They always fall apart on me :(

hmm, do you mean the frosting falls apart? it could be too thin of a consistency, or you might be working with it too much in your hands (a piping bag with buttercream gets hot and melty with too much handling). pipe a little bit at a time then pop it in the fridge or freezer for 5 minutes to cool it back down between piping!
